If you had £100 in your amazon wallet now, what would you buy?

I have a gift voucher and don't know what to spend it on!

In this situation I'd wait until there was something I wanted.

raquarita · 14/07/2026 11:18

You don’t need to spend it straightaway.

Amazon sell a lot of different things, so I’m sure you can find something.

Pointyleaf · 14/07/2026 11:21

I'd leave it on the account until something came up that I wanted or needed. I wouldn't spend it on just anyhting, and you can buy everything there so it's only a matter of time.

EndlessWeeding · 14/07/2026 11:23

Medik8 retinal or peptide serum.

Jasmin71 · 14/07/2026 11:25

More sandals

GooseyGee · 14/07/2026 11:26

Gosh you're all so sensible 🤣

I use amazon constantly and I feel like it will get eaten up on binbags or catfood on subscription if I don't find something fun to use it on.

I have been wanting a new fragrance but not sure if Amazon is the place to go for that.

If you use Amazon constantly anyway then you don't need to get your "treat" from Amazon, you just use the £100 you would have spent with Amazon elsewhere and use the gift card for your mundane purchases.

IdentifyingAsAWoollyMammoth · 14/07/2026 11:41

Books.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 14/07/2026 11:43

I kee eyeing up a Ninja Creami I don’t need!

doyoueverstopandthink · 14/07/2026 11:44

Some bits for my holiday. Sun cream, packing cubes, that sort of thing

MrsMattSantos · 14/07/2026 11:46

I’d buy a new blender that can crush ice. I had frozen pineapple margaritas on holiday and they were soooo good. I really want to make them at home but my ancient blender isn’t up to it

GimmieABreakOr3 · 14/07/2026 11:46

Perfume

SheilaFentiman · 14/07/2026 11:48

I absolutely get that you want to use it for a big thing.

I would be wary of fragrance (or at least check that you are getting it from the Sol de Janiero shop or whatever, not a random marketplace)

Any lush hard backs you want - beautiful pictures of landscapes, dresses, architecture - whatever is your jam?

SheilaFentiman · 14/07/2026 11:56

That is genius @Hamela

Edited

So just spend it on bin bags and cat food and put £100 in an account that you can use to buy fragrance with.

I'd use it on my next 101 x 99 p Kindle books because that's all really buy from Amazon, most other things are either complete crap or more expensive than other shops.

omghereistrouble · 14/07/2026 12:26

Books
Toiletries including perfume
Sandals
Chocolates
Special treats for my doggy

Theresalittlebitofwitchinyou · 14/07/2026 18:04

Security cameras but my neighbours have reached a new low.
If you asked me this time last year I’d have said comfy sandals and nice summer tops/dresses

elliesmummy19 · 14/07/2026 18:05

Books probably

MissDixieVoom · 14/07/2026 21:06

Cat food.

PinkJ · 14/07/2026 21:10

Ice machine

Diversion · 14/07/2026 21:16

I would use it towards the new camping stove I really want. The one we have is really old now but works just fine so I can't justify buying a new one just yet. I might just put it on the Secret Santa wishlist at Christmas ready for next year.

TheeNotoriousPIG · 14/07/2026 21:25

I would spend it all on books or kitchen things! I am a fan of Kilner and Le Creuset, as well as useful things like cake tins. (That sounds rather more exciting than the DIY adhesive and silicone spatula that I ordered today, I admit).

Aside from bin bags and cat foods, what are you into, OP?

lmnabc · 14/07/2026 21:29

I have a similar voucher. I’ve been spending it on things I need rather than want. I’m just grateful for the financial help, but then I’m not a big spender generally.

BertieBotts · 14/07/2026 22:38

You can set it up to not use gift cards first which means you can save that for something you want.

When I get amazon vouchers I usually use them for kindle books as and when. But I would like a pair of noise cancelling headphones.
