2 year old birthday party ideas

My LO is turning 2 soon and I’m planning on having a party for him in a village hall with family & friends.

Last year we had his baby sensory lady entertain at his party which was amazing but this year he doesn’t have the longest attention span so I am planning to hire some soft play and put on a little lunch for the children.

I was also going to bring some ride on toys & having a little table where the children can do some coloring if they want some quiet time.

For adults we will supply food & drinks too.

Does this sound ok? I have never been to a toddler party aside from the one we hosted last year so not sure what the expectations are! Last year it was quite structured so I’m worried that this will be boring by comparison.

If anyone has any advice that would be amazing !!

That sounds lovely. what is the age range of the kids coming to the party?

Thank you. I just don’t want anyone to be bored but don’t have any examples to follow !!

It will almost all be 1-2 year olds with a few older siblings but no older than 7. Softplay might be a bit babyish for the older ones I suppose

Get a bubble machine, that will occupy toddlers for hours.
