My friends marriage ended three years ago now and she ended up with their elderly dog. The dog was left alone for large parts of the day while she worked and wasn’t looked after very well, all truth be told, and he really did suffer at the end. I appreciate she was sort of left with him though. So the poor dog died at home last week. She’s now bought a puppy.
I really feel so exasperated and very sorry for the puppy.
