Book suggestions for teenage daughters who reread the same favourites

Teenage daughters aged 15 and 17 do not read. They only tend to read the same books again and again, and I wish they would try something else.

The books they have read in the last year not to do with school:

.Any Sarah Crossan (especially One, Toffee and the Weight of Water)
.Lost at Sea by brian lee o malley
.Any sort of US-import "tween" graphic novel
.The Midnight Library
.The god of small things

Any idea of similar books?

They hate "clichee" YA such as heart stopper and fantasy books so bear that in mind

Sci fi any good? We loved the Project Hail Mary film and DS is enjoying the book.

Are there are current or historical famous people they are interested in? I loved reading biographies at that age and found some of them really inspirational
