Ive done a couple of loads of washing and got them dry on the line. DH is in the garden putting up the pool for our granddaughter.
DS and DIL are here along with my 2 DD’s and DD’s boyfriend so it’s a family barbecue and pool afternoon I think.
What about all of you?

I am watching too much Netflix and crocheting and trying not to think about how much longer I will have to suffer in the heat.

4 wash loads out & dried AND just donated my 12th bag of blood!

Made a lovely prawn salad now in front of my fan watching celebrity gogglebox with a pint of Vimto and ice!

Best Sunday ever!

Laundry , floating in my pool , taking my daughter to camp for another week. Also considering some weeding but it’s very hot here tosay

Buscobel · 12/07/2026 14:53

InA bit of weeding and deadheading, followed by cleaning the bathrooms. Two pairs of trousers needed shortening, so I’ve done that. I should be ironing them too, along with some other stuff, but as I had to do one pair twice because I messed up, I need a rest before I get the ironing board out.

I’ve just taken my DGS home after a weekend of fun and tears. I’m missing him already, the house is so quiet without him

Watching Wimbledon.

Beside my DM in bed in hospital with DF on the other side of her, both asleep.

Peaceful, but probably the eye of the hurricane.

DreamingOfGeneHunt · 12/07/2026 15:02

I'm in my allotment, just strimmed the grass, having a break before I do some tidying up.

LivingwithHopenowandforever · 12/07/2026 15:02

Still in bed, have chronic pain. Have been trying to get myself mobile for the last couple of hrs. Want to get up & do some gardening but just have nothing in me so have been watching the new ITV drama The Dark.

5MilesMax · 12/07/2026 15:04

Sitting on a deckchair in a little alleyway in the shade as I've no garden, looking after friend's spaniel, tennis to watch later.
Hope everyone is having a nice day,
Brew to those that aren't.

We’ve been and spent a couple of hours with my mum, now I’m reading and napping in the garden. Dh has been in his shed tinkering with his bike. I’m going to watch the Wimbledon final with the TV on an extension lead outside and we’re bbq ing a whole chicken for dinner.

Both ds’s were out late last night for the football, one is at work and will no doubt come home and sleep, the other is sleeping now. They will probably surface for food. I’m so glad I’m past the age of ruining lovely sunny Sundays with hangovers!
