Hi all, Im late 20’s married with twin toddlers.
I went back to work self employed this year and have managed to add to my savings. My finances look like this:
£50,000 invested
2026 pots topped up
£150,000 equity in my current home
£70,000 equity in another home (inheritance)
£320/ month added to SIPP
My monthly savings aren’t much due to me working part time so I can be with the twins whilst they’re small. The savings will basically just about keep my annual pots filled so I don’t need to touch the base £50k.
I feel abit down because for the next 2-3 years I won’t be adding to my overall savings at all- just keeping it the same
I know I’m very lucky to be stable, I have just been so used to adding to the net worth so it’s hard to accept this will be how it is for a few years atleast, is anyone else in this position?
