Show me your door wreaths please

I’m looking for a lovely wreath for the front door, looking to spend around £50. Any suggestions please?

Any door wreath, other than a Christmas one made of natural materials, is extremely tacky. Especially summer ones made from plastic flowers and foliage.

Google is excellent for finding things online

Are these a thing, outside of Christmas?

i have only seen them as a Christmas thing. I would say no plastic.

I don't have a summer wreath. Possibly the only time of year they aren't a thing in the shops?

I recommend Etsy. I got a lovely autumnal wreath from there years ago and it’s holding up well.

OP I’ve had various from Lights4Fun over the years and they’ve always been pretty decent quality.

Plastic ones look really cheap. I love a proper holly Christmas one though, garden centres (not B&Q, theirs are expensive!) are the place to look. If you wanted a non-plastic summer one then I guess a florist could probably do you one - dried flowers would last longer.

The nicest wreath I ever had on my door was a Christmas one I made at a wreath-making workshop for charity. Lots of fresh foliage, berries, ribbons etc. It was really lovely.

I wouldn't put a wreath on my door in the summer as it would have to be artificial or, at least, just made with dried flowers and twigs.

I actually saw a door with a small summer wreath on it yesterday, a small circle with peach coloured flowers.

It's not something you see often, but seasonal wreaths throughout the year are becoming more popular.

I have made fresh wreaths before for Christmas and would adapt one of those, using summer flowers.

Having said that, you can get artificial ones - Next has a fair few.

I buy mine from Brontes door wreaths.

Lots of lovely photos on her Instagram and Facebook and reasonably priced.

I have a few but they are all made from real, dried flowers by experts and I have had lots of compliments, but we also have an old, wood door which may help!
Don’t buy plastic, it’s looks Stacey Solomon tacky.

I had a plastic one up last summer, every time I opened the door there was an irate bee dive-bombing it.

I have a whole collection of wreaths - who cares if they are a thing or not they suit my house and I love them.
