How quickly are children’s passport renewals being processed at the moment?

Anyone renewed a kid’s passport in the last couple of weeks? How fast was it dispatched? Just realised my daughter’s expires end of August!! I haven’t got anything booked but was tempted to book something last minute. But obviously not if she doesn’t have one.

one week for us from receiving original passport

We had to change my son’s name on his passport which delayed things while they requested further proof, but it was 3 weeks in total. Our adult ones were both back within a week.

Ooo this is giving me hope!

About 10 days maybe - that was just last month

DS' also took 8 days last month

I’ll post it asap then.

I don't think the time of year matters, so unlikely to be slower than in winter going on other's comments.

I sent mine off the beginning of February, it took two weeks, so it makes no difference
