If you woke up and found yourself 400years in the past what would you practically do? How would you try to get home?
keep in mind you are a woman and don’t want to be thrown into an asylum. But also seem to have found yourself in a relatively wealthy household.
Interested in thoughts as I have no idea how to try and get home. Maybe you wouldn’t want to come home?

I’d use my knowledge of modern science industry and medicine to try to establish a secure household for myself, maybe with a husband if needed. Then I’d correspond with the scientists of the day.

id also keep a detailed diary and put each book in a metal box as a time capsule that could be found in the future in case I didn’t make it back.

or I might die of small pox in my first year living in the past.

I was imagining a situation where you wake up as someone from the past. So imagine a moderately wealthy woman from 1626 and you wake up in her body. Would you try and figure out what happened and how you ended up there and the try to get back to your own life in 2026 or would you just accept you now lived in 1626 and carry on loving as if you were that woman??
