Road trip anxiety and frequent need to wee, would pads help?

Please advise. I need to wee a lot, or more likely I have anxiety that I need to. Im heading on a road trip and was thinking of Tena lady type pads as I dont want to ruin the trip. What do you advise?

Tena pads are intended for accidental bladder leakage.
There's a difference between needing to wee a lot, but being able to wait until you get to a toilet, and bladder leakage when you cough/laugh/sneeze.
I'm not sure how a tena would help if you have full control of your bladder. They aren't like nappies and able to store repeated full wees just because you don't want to stop off at a toilet.

If you're wanting a product to catch full wees, you need to be looking at full incontinence briefs.

Do you actually need to do a full wee or is it just anxiety saying you need one, but when you try only a tiny bit comes out?

If it's the former, you should be tested for diabetes, as weeing a lot is a symptom. If the latter, please see a specialist therapist for this. One of my relatives had this (had to 'go for a wee' every 15 minutes if we were out, sometimes every 5 minutes if she was stressed about leaving the house) and it ruined her bladder control because she was forcing wee when she didn't really need one. It ended up quite serious and she had to do a lot of various physical and mental therapies to retrain herself on how to recognise the signs of a full bladder, and how to hold it if necessary.

In the interim period, incontinence pants might help to relieve the anxiety on long trips, just until the issue is sorted.

I dont really need to go most of the time. I can wait hours if there's a toilet nearby. I do drink well so do need to go then. Its mainly a worry. I have found urine bags on Amazon that are for traffic jams etc which sound perfect. I get what you mean about taking care of your bladder though. I think I have been on long journeys where there hasn't been a toilet or stuck in traffic and thst worry has stayed with me. Im also anxious about the trip generally so am over preparing.
