Graphic novel recommendations for 10yr old boy?

Smarties2 · 10/07/2026 21:51

I am looking for some recommendations for my year 4 (going into year 5) boy. When I have done a quick google search it just finds the usual bunny v monkey etc. I am wanting to find some with more complex narratives, that are a bit more grown up. I am very grateful for any suggestions.

Alex Rider - link

Is the 13 story treehouse too young. Link

Not strictly a graphic novel but very animated. The Tom Gates series Link

Percy Jackson books as graphic novels Link

Has he tried the Horrible History books?

My kids are grown so sorry if the ages are not quite right.

Investigators my kid likes. Wings of fire? If he likes dragons

Thank you both, he hasn’t had Alex Rider or Wings of Fire so I will try those.
