Fancy Handwash

Do you have Aesop or another over-priced; handwash brand in your loo? And some people also seem to have flannels to dry your hands too. This is excessive in my humble opinion and I'm just too tight to jump on this unnecessary bandwagon. We all wash out hands regularly, I don't like all those over perfumed things and I get it is about creating a pleasant experience for guests but it is a bit silly.

I do but I buy mine from TK Maxx and pay no more than £3/£4 for hand-wash usually RRP £18-£25

Theres a significant difference between Carex and Compagnie de Provence. Guest towels are a must too, who wouldn’t?

I had stunt Aesop in my old house when it was up for sale 😅 We normally use Faith in Nature which I buy in very not-fancy 5L containers.

I find the idea of a flannel instead of a hand towel a bit odd but as long as it’s clear that’s what it’s for then fine. I hate when you go to the loo at someone’s house and there is no obvious hand towel so you have to pick a random towel to dry your hands on.

My hand wash is Method sweet water.

I do have guest hand towels (smaller than normal hand towels so less bulky for frequent changes). Flannels for hand drying would be overkill as realistically they'd only be used once.

I have the Diptyque handwash in my downstairs loo and it is gorgeous. It’s lasted ages and they do a refill pack for when it runs out which is cheaper. I also like the Molton Brown and Rituals ones.

I just have a nice patterned hand towel, flannels seem like such a faff for all involved.

Mine are just the Carex from Tesco. I have a hand towel. No complaints.

We usually have quite nice handwash and change the hand towels regularly, but for our own pleasure. The Lidl dupe of the l'Occitane hand washes are good.

My DM bought me some Penhaligons hand wash for my birthday (I usually just use Aldi Lacura 🤣). It’s in my wardrobe as I daren’t use it although I will when my current upstairs bathroom wash wears out
