New York Times Sudoku

I used to do an easy sudoku on the New York Times website every day. Just an easy one as I'm no expert. But today it appears the page is no longer available, so they must have stopped doing it.

I liked the way when you clicked on any given number, it lit up all the other instances of that number, so you could see them at a glance. I also like the way if I out a number somewhere it couldn't go, you got an x by all instances of that number.

I've tried other sudoku puzzles, including the mumnset one, but none of them are as user friendly for novices like me.

Does any one know of other similarly helpful sudoku daily puzzles please?

Sudoku.com does the highlighting thing. You can choose your level of difficulty.

If you put the wrong number in a square it immediately highlights it in red.

I love Sudoku.com. However you do only get three* mistakes before you have to start again.
*You have to watch an ad for the third one.
I haven’t found anything better though. And I love their Killer Sudoku!

I’ve got the sudoko.com app.

im sure I can make more than 3 mistakes. But I only have it on easy. It does highlight all the 9s eg and I can fill in the gaps.

I did the NYT one this morning and I can still access the site. I usually do it on an incognito tab. I am not a subscriber.

Thanks everyone, I now have some other options to try.

Thanks especially to @oneoffname - I tried searching for NYT sudoku (having deleted my bookmark) in a private browsing window and it has come up. This is odd, because when the page was not found before, it wasn;t a connection problem as I was invited to try the other NYT games.

I guess I'll be doing more than one sudoku a day from now on.
