Can anyone recommend brands or sets for face painting?

I've decided I'm going to learn how to do face painting for my DCs over the summer. Can anyone recommend any brands that are good quality, or specific sets that are good for starting off?

And do I just get normal makeup brushes and sponges?

Any tips or recommendations welcome! Luckily DC are an easy audience.

Snazaroo is the most known brand. Can be purchased at most places argos, amazon. Fine to use make up brushes and sponges

Definitely snazaroo. Get a big tub of white and you can use the smaller ones for everything else. You can buy a palette for starting if you prefer.

YouTube is great for tutorials - then I learnt about 5 main designs which I printed out on photo paper so I could get kids / friends to choose their favourite rather than each kid wanting something different ever time!

My top tip is a small spray misting bottle for wetting the colours before you use the brush

And a wide headband that lives permanently in the box to push hair off forehead - but then remember that a heavy fringe will hide a design so don’t spend too long on that area.

Dont forget glasses hide lots of a design so if a kid wears glasses you need to focus on a much wider design so it still shows
