Relay service on Vinted

Just to say the service is so bad, sent a dress at local corner shop saw it get scanned etc but no tracking, Vinted have now said item was not sent and refunded the buyer. I have now removed them from my postage options and suggest you do the same. The reviews on trust pilot are abysmal.

My one experience was awful and the man at the shop was so rude. It’s not intuitive at all and I did t get a barcode so had to download an app and then find an email with tracking ref and re-download (having not even had it ) the barcode.

I used it and it took ages. Took my QR code to the shop and the guy told me to find my own parcel in the box - except they all just have QR codes on them! Gave me attitude because he was chatting on the phone and I tried to tell him I couldn’t find a QR code in a box.

Out of all the vinted courier options it's my favourite

Evri and I think Yodel? Send me an email, which I then loose in the mountain of other emails I've got

One needs a code to collect it (one is just your name),

Relay sends me a WhatsApp with the code which I can find easy

The bloke in the shop is nice as well

I've used it, as a buyer, and agree it was terrible. Took forever then they said it arrived and it hadn't

I've just used it as a buyer. The parcel says ready to collect, which I shall do tomorrow. Now wondering if its even there

Yeah they’re shocking. One of my items was smashed to bits. Another they brought it all the way to my area, waited 3 days, sent it back to the seller? For no reason. Third time they lost the item for a week.

Another time I couldn’t send the item because the shops handset broke.

I googled to see if it was a bad courier as I've just had a mix up selling something on vinted. Sold a dress and my buyer messaged me to say she had received some random trousers! Have refunded my buyer but have now lost the dress and what I would have earned from it. Have also removed them from my postage options. I've messaged both relay and vinted but doubt I will hear back.

Why did you refund ? I would have hung on and Vinted would compensate both of you

Oh I had no idea you could do that :/ I just panicked as I didn't want the buyer to be out of pocket. I'm on mat leave and simple tasks seem to be a lot for me at the moment 🙈

I’ve only ever had a good experience with Relay. Albeit only a handful of orders. They’ve always been super quick like 2 days for delivery!

I have experienced the same as you OP with inpost. Seller said she scanned the item I bought, but tracking didn’t get updated, so it ended up getting marked as lost and I got a refund

Yes - received half an order. Spoke to seller who confirmed the parcel had been opened and did not look the same as when she had posted it.

always take photos before you send so you can show you’ve sent in suitable packaging etc , I sent something £50 the other week and Evri damaged it … took about 10 days but both the buyer and myself were given the money back , Vinted are making a fortune on the daily , they can afford to pay out occasionally x
