Also one I have heard of 'Don't poison the well' which I think doesn't mean who has helped you and you are rejecting I think it means that anything that is of benefit to you, such as water from a well, one should not poison!

I googled and I found ones that were supposed to be similar (like the Italian don’t spit in your plate) but I feel like they aren’t really the same meaning). Like don’t shit on your own doorstep, don’t poison the well you drink from, they all have slightly different meaning.
