Is ds entitled to free prescriptions?
He turned 18 in May and has just finished his A level exams.
He has obviously not had his results so I don't know if he will be back in full time education resitting or not.
I am entitled to child benefit until at least 31st August.
It says its free if 17,18,19 and in full time education.
Is he entitled to free prescriptions considering this?

I would say he is. He is still in full time education as he will still be enrolled with his school/college until A level results day.

Yes, they allow for this ‘summer gap’ - he is 18 and waiting for exam results, so he is still considered to be in full-time education.

The child benefit entitlement until 31 August also shows that the government still classes him as a dependent in full-time educatin.

As far as I know he will be entitled until August 31st of this year.
If he does an extra year of college/6th Form he will still be entitled until August 31st 2027.
