Party on Saturday we won’t know anyone

We have been invited to what I know will be an epic party bash on Saturday night, hig roast, live band, free bar and a nights camping 🏕️
Myself husband and DS9 are so excited have bought a new tent and everything.
A little adventure!
Birthday boy is friend of husbands, who I’ve not actually met nor his wife or children.
We are very social and I will cha to anyone I’m not shy.
So thinking about Saturday night at the party where we will enjoy it no matter what just being us 3, should we just sit alone and enjoy ourselves or mingle get chatting etc?
If you were invited to a party where you might not know people except the host (who will likely be tied up talking and mingling to everyone) what would your plan be?
Any tips or advice?
thank you 🙏🏼

Of course you mingle! Just go with the flow and have a fab time :)

I'd walk around with my skirt tucked into my knickers. When people stop me to let me know, I'd chat with them and make friends that way.

Why do you need a plan?

Your husband would surely know more than just the birthday person?

If you're not shy and will talk to anyone why would you ask what you need to do or for tips and advice.

You have got to set up the tent so I assume you will start meeting others doing the same so I would start chatting with those around then go with the flow from there. Definitely mingle

Mingle and go with the flow. Last weekend I went to a friend’s party, by myself. Apart from her and her family I only knew one other couple but it was fine, and I’m probably less outgoing than you.
