Stupidest, weirdest or most trivial thing someone wants to report

Hands down the silliest thing on MN I've seen someone want to report is the blue house next door.

Can anyone beat that for trivial, silly or hilarious?

My neighbour reported me to the council as she could see my wheelie bins from her house.

There was a loud bang in our village today and several villagers have reported it to the police.

How horrifyingly offensive! I hope you got a lengthy jail term for that. 😂

My lavender bush has lots of bees on it.

Aah the blue house thread was hilarious. My Mums best friend painted her detached house in Sevenoaks bright blue…it was awesome 😂

Next door neighbours moved in a few months ago, they have a child maybe 3. Sometimes in the day but always in the evening she screams and not just a cry here and there I mean fully screaming crying. I have a 2 year old so I know how it can be but sometimes I do think should I report just to make sure she’s ok

We had built a low wall round the wheelie bins on our drive which the council had approved as part of our extension.
The council actually came out to see me, he had a file of photos as the neighbour had come down our drive to take them. He showed me the complaint letters and the issue wasn't the low wall it was they could see the bins cause they were now at the front of the house.

Crazy thing is their bins are on their drive which I can see !

I once had someone come into my place of work (solicitors) wanting to sue the local Wetherspoons for serving him “undercooked apple crumble”. Apparently, “it could have killed me”.

He was absolutely serious.

In our village someone left a toddler’s rocking horse out for the bin men to take and then reported it to the police when someone else took it.

An otherwise rational friend of mine was furious when people helped themselves to things in her builder's skip. She was outraged at the theft. When I hire a skip I will be delighted if people help themselves rather than it ending up in landfill - and it would create space for me to put more clutter in.

I got reported to social services for walking too much. Yes, my nextdoor neighbour, who reported me, was an absoluttely fat toad. The social servies lady who visited me said the whole office had been in stitches, but she was duty bound to investigate. I counter reported about my neighbour constantly screeching at her daughters to shut the fuck up, amongst other things. Social services signed me up for PIP, I hadn't known i qualified and the scrubber neighbour got moved by the council. So it somewhat backfired on her!!!

My neighbour is upset that I’m putting a regular, 6ft wooden fence around my own back garden. No other gardens adjoin to mine it’s just my house - my garden - my drive - my garage - woodland. Their house faces the front of my house… the only thing it will do is stop them walking round the back of my house and INTO my garden to talk to me. Which is why they’re annoyed. There are hedgehog highways and everything.
