Anyone been to the O2 Academy Birmingham?

DD wants to go to a gig at the O2 Academy in Birmingham.

The tickets she can get are seated - no standing ones available.

Does anyone know if they have a wristband system (or something), or would they be able to find their seats and then just go downstairs into the standing bit?

Ime no they won't be able to go downstairs but they can stand upstairs.
