Would you shorten these bedroom curtains or leave them as they are?

Long bedroom curtains...are these too long, would you turn these up?

My mum would say they look “luxurious”, I’d want them taken up.

Curtain pole won’t be able to be raised enough due to the cornicing.

I would use a tie back and never close them .

I'd leave them until after they get washed. Instead of closing them at night i would get a blackout blind to cover the window but allow the radiator to heat the room

Window cill length is virtually never seen in chic magazines. Pretty much gone as a look. In this case, a massive waste too. The pole cannot go up much or the top of the curtains is dragging against the coving. I think puddling is normal these days or hook them back so they fold elegantly.
