FUCK! Giant expensive lamb joint use by 1st July

OMG I am such an idiot!

Got a giant joint to do batch cooked lamb curry. I only bought this two days ago on online delivery and it says 1st July Use By.

Should I just cook it anyway?

Help!!!!

I am sure it will be fine - they have to build in a bit of extra time to these dates so they don’t run as much risk of things going off on their use by date.

Yes it will be fine to cook and freeze. Or eat.
Once its been cooked you'll get a few days out of it if it stays in the fridge and months if you freeze it.
