Help me find a gift

DS (14 years old) was given a year- long acting award from a local small youth theatre. It was a year of free tuition, LAMDA, singing etc and as a direct result he now has an agent and has made some good money doing commercials, and has auditions for big movies and tv series etc.
The year is coming to an end and I would like to give the director a gift for this award which has been amazing. I can’t afford much - up to £50. The guy is fun, camp and flamboyant.

What about a nice notepad and pen in a funky colour.

Don't overthink it, you are acknowledging his help with thanks and he will appreciate whatever you give him. If he drinks alcohol I'd go for a bottle of champagne in a funky wine bag.

You can get a decent champagne for around your budget. NOT prosecco, the real deal!

If he doesn't drink, maybe someone else will have other ideas. The Oliver Bonas gift section on the site has some nice and quirky ideas within your budget that may give you inspiration.

I think nice stationery would be a great gift, you can go for something custom (like a notebook in a good leather cover or a personalized perpetual calendar) along with a coffee voucher, these are always appreciated and well-received!
If your DS is crafty, he can make a card if he wishes, the teachers/tutors always appreciate them and keep long after they stop working.
