Ours is a weekly family planner one so we turned it over on Monday but it still has a different print for each month. July is tomatoes.

Snapshots from last summer, water fights and holidays.

Mine's from the Chinese Takeaway so lots of red and some AI generated cows carrying lanterns. There's also a random pomegranate.

It's so ugly I actually love it!

I just ran some of it through Google translate and apparently 12th July is a good day to release a cyst!

Two Japanese pocket radios circa 1960.

(Husband belongs to the British Vintage Wireless Society.)

DramaAlpaca · 01/07/2026 13:53

An English Springer Spaniel, but then it's an ESS calendar so there's one for every month. It's traditional in our house at this stage, we get one every year.

Spanish Verbs.

A steam train. Don't ask me what sort, I have no idea.

Sgtmajormummy · 01/07/2026 14:07

A pretty generic picture of a Golden Retriever puppy. We only have one calendar in the toilet house and nobody writes on it.
Replaced by technology in 5 years. I used to love choosing ours. We’ve had family planners, Yorkshire Dales, Leonardo Da Vinci ink drawings, Art Deco ladies by Mucha, botanical prints…

Abouteffingtime · 01/07/2026 14:09

National trust family planner

A Grey Seal - (close up of face), I make DD play 'guess which animal this month' every 1st of the month. She got it in 3 guesses today. She's 36, but she indulges my childish pleasures.

I can’t show it but it’s a collage of my son’s selfies throughout the year as it’s his birthday month!

SemiRetiredLoveGoddeess · 03/07/2026 11:16

A lovely picture of a resist dyed, pattern textile used in the making of a Japanese Kimono from 1950. to.1970.

Sounds very pretentious l know. But l bought this calendar because it was something different and had some lovely prints. Plus it only cost ,£10.99 from a local bookshop.

AhDell · 03/07/2026 16:31

@SemiRetiredLoveGoddeess That sounds absolutely lovely and not at all pretentious!
Could you take a pic please? 🙏🏻
Would love to see it!
