Travel insurance with ongoing allergy testing - should we just cancel the holiday?

Has anyone successfully got travel insurance for a child whilst they were being investigated for allergies (or another medical condition)? Slightly tearing my hair out here and wondering if we'll have to cancel our holiday.

Baby DD is being investigated for possible allergies and it looks like she won't get a formal diagnosis until she does a nut challenge at age 1, even though she's had skin testing for various allergens (which came back clear apart from for one type of nut).

I know in theory some specialist providers will cover ongoing investigations but so far I've spent about an hour apiece on the phone to several and they are mostly declining to cover her at all for any medical issues, in the circumstances. That's a no go as it's a cruise holiday so our options are very limited and expensive if something serious happens.

Yes it’s possible to get cover but at a price, staysure is usually a good option. If there’s no other health conditions that will help

Check out the options. It’s probably much cheaper than you think.
