1970s Talking Doll

What was the name of the plastic doll from probs 70s/80s who used to say things like “I’m so silly” and “Carry me I’m portable”?

I’ve found a pic of one but it doesn’t say her name!

That doesn’t ring a bell. She was yellow hard plastic with a dress and you pulled a string to make her talk.

I had one! She also says

‘are you silly too?’
’hi’ ( with a giggle)

“I can fit in your pocket” “chuckles happy”

the plastic words are under her bow

What is her name though??

I thought she said something about going potty because as a child I didn’t really know what she meant.

My mum had one of those she got in America. I remember it said, 'I've lost my head over you'.

i can remember my granny’s next door neighbour giving her to me. I did have two. It would have been around 1972/1973 time

so she is over 50 years old. Don’t remember her coming in a box with a name

I also think she says “I’m falling apart! Boo hoo!” And also “Here comes my boddddy!”

Apparently they were only made for one year and there were 3 of them

Funnily enough I looked these dolls up quite recently, and amongst the words I typed into Google were “I lost my head over you”

Looks like there was also a redhead

I had the brown haired one and absolutely loved it! It’s possibly in my loft somewhere as I vaguely remember finding it maybe in my 20s and being amazed it still worked!

I still find walkie talkie dolls bloody terrifying! There was a near life size one in Toys R Us.

Oh how fab to hear it again. Right down to the shaky recording which makes her voice all wobbly.
