And if so what did you wear please? The official info says smart casual, no trainers etc but the general photos and reviews have people extremely dressed up, hats, fascinators, heels the whole shebang. I'm due on soon and was planning on a smart summery shirt dress and ballet shoes as it includes a tour of the royal yacht so I need to be comfortable, but I fear I'll be massively under dressed!

I have, up to Edinburgh. It was a mix of outfits, some people very casual and some really dressed up (like you say, fascinators and the like). I wore a nice midi dress. Your shirt dress sounds like it would be perfect! Have a lovely time, it’s a nice thing to do, feels very special and grand :)

Thanks both, I was very happy with my outfit choice until I googled! I'm so looking forward to it, I've always fancied a luxury train journey and as I can't stretch to Rovos Rail or the Maharajas Express at the moment this is my temporary fix!
