Good Morning from Dublin Airport! We've just got to our gate after picking up a few bits in Duty Free. Our flight's in an hour so we'll plane watch til we board ✈️.

Once we get back, I'll get my train home to see dd2 and go to bed for a while 💤💤💤, and dd will head off to Edinburgh for a third gig in three nights 🎶.

This afternoon/evening will hopefully be slow and chill, something easy for tea, followed by more sleep!

I’m drinking an iced coffee on the sofa now, basking in the coolness of the morning, so glad the temperature has dropped! Waiting for the Tesco delivery, will unpack that and then I’m heading to the park with a new book and a picnic blanket to enjoy some fresh air.

I’ll come home for lunch, do some housework and meal prep and then I’m heading to my sister’s late afternoon to babysit my niece and nephew. Won’t be home until late so I’ll probably be straight to bed when I get in.

Good morning! We are getting ready to go to our allotment to start planting out all the plants DS has been looking after while we have been away on holiday. Despite the heat he managed to keep everything alive and thriving.

It’s raining here!!! At last!

So, coffee while listening to the birds then a huge cleaning spree, laundry, tip run, charity bags drop off then coffee with some family I’ve not seen in a while.

Looking forward to today!

I’ve already built an Ikea flat pack desk for the youngest room (he’s in the US at the moment, so can get in his room). Must be a flat pack record, I built it in 30 minutes.

Going to have a cup of tea and then wash my car. It’s covered in sand after being rained on and looks a right state.

Having my coffee in the garden and enjoying the pleasant temperature. A day of ironing and packing for me as we're off on holiday on Tuesday morning and I want to spend tomorrow cleaning the house. I'm very excited.

Morning @lucysmamand everyone else. I’m sat having my first coffee enjoying the cooler weather and the peace. Two dogs are snoozing next to me also glad of the cool air.

My two boys are still in bed probably gaming.
Dd2 has been at a sleepover and dh has gone to pick her up. Dd1 is staying at friends house after a heavy night out last night.
I need to do some ironing and have a tidy round. We are going to dds netball match at 12 then I might do a roast.
We were out at Ds football teams social yesterday and few too many aperols in the sun have left me feeling a bit groggy.

Good morning everyone, I am dripping after doing an hour of tidying in an area of my garden. It’s looking like it’s going to rain but nothing has come of it yet.
Tiddler was out there with me, she’s like my shadow.
My garden is jungle-like where everything has grown profusely in the last couple of weeks, my pots badly need sorting so that’s the plan for this week. I’ll be out there very early in the morning before it warms up, probably by 6.30 at the latest. I can do an hour before I have to rest if it’s just easy weeding etc.
The bloody snails have eaten 10 of my dozen runner beans plants 🤬
I can’t use slug pellets because tiddler will literally eat anything.
i’ve ordered more plants and I’ll move the big tub to the middle of the patio to discourage the buggers hopefully!
DH is about to take bigger dog down to the village for a walk and I need to wash the floors and get something for dinner. I have absolutely no enthusiasm for cooking at the best of times!
Little else going on here.

Early start here for DDs birthday. We had a day out yesterday so quieter day with family today.

Just having a quick today before people head over.

Not sure about tea tonight, will let the birtjday girl choose.

Hola @lucysmam and all! Currently basking on a sun lounger in our resort, watching DH & DS being silly geese in the splash park on the last day of our holiday.

Grateful for the lower temp. First morning I've woken in a, week with the quilt covering me! Shower in a min then shopping with dh. Prob call to mums this afternoon, she's only 5 mins walk away. Light tea for us a ds. Quiet day.

Placemarking

Was supposed to be up and out the door at 9. Instead our arsehole neighbour decided to have a garden party. Music went off at 1:30am but they still sat there shouting and singing until 3am. He's been back out in the garden drinking for nearly an hour, that's the kind of person we are dealing with. Completely unapproachable, violent and abusive alcoholic. I'm really fucked off because I'm tired and my only day off from work has been ruined. I'm calling round estate agents tomorrow. Can't cope with the stress of living next door to him any longer (it's been 5 1/2 years of putting up with his shit).

Currently sat on my sofa having given the DC a snack. This morning, I’ve been sorted a pile of stuff that’s been building up whilst DH is working on the garden. Height of productivity on this much cooler Sunday! Very pleasant temperature.

Morning all. Woke up a little later than planned so cancelled my usual gym class and sat and had a coffee in the garden with dog. Took her out as she’s been pestering. Nice and cloudy and breezy so she enjoyed a run around in the woods (5 min walk from home). Now sat on the sofa trying to muster up some energy to go to the gym and do the food shop.

Need to do some cleaning later then will probably sit and watch something on tv, have dinner and have an evening in the garden to cool off.

I woke up late after accidentally double dosing a sleep aid tablet with an antihistamine 🫣 but did have a great nights sleep, with a fan blowing directly into my face all night. Bliss.

The plan was to go on a hike but woke up to rain, so am cleaning the house instead.

DS1 has gone out with his mates, DS2 is still in his jammies so looks like a lazy day for us. Just seen a good looking roast chicken recipe on Saturday Kitchen best bites so might pop to the shops to get ingredients for that in a bit to have for tea. With a nice glass of wine.

Had iced coffee and breakfast and now in front of TV with the little one playing. Cooler and much more peaceful. Easy dinner and drinks later.

Morning! How was the gig?

Lovely cool morning here, woke up at 7am despite not going to sleep until 2am.
Took mischievous dog for a short walk and then baked some snacks and planned for the week ahead while drinking coffee.
Need to decide what to cook for tuesday that is easily transportable and needs little faffing around with.
Just got in the bath, hoping to get DC out for a longer walk with the dog as they have both been attached to screens, and then home for a nap (for all of us!) before we go to DMs for dinner.
Mischievous dogs parents should be arriving at some stage today to pick her up.

The week ahead is going to be very busy with alot of juggling to take place so I am hoping the cool weather will mean DS will go to sleep earlier- therefore I can have an early night too. I wish you could bank sleep. 🤣

Currently sitting in the garden, rehydr ating after a very hot class. It's lovely today, the cool breeze is back.
DH is out for a run, DS has gone shopping for his holiday next Sunday.
Austrian F1 at 2 and then a bit of gardening. Either a bbq or fajitas for tea, weather dependent.
One more week at work and then we are all off. DS is going to Zante, DH and I are having a week of lovely things.

I am having a do nothing day. I drove 8 hours on Friday (traffic a bitch) to collect my DD from Durham Uni. We had a lovely stay in a hotel (except for the wedding party that had arrived the night before and were up at 6am making as much noise as if they had booked the whole hotel). After a delicious breakfast we went to her house to pack up her last bits and squeeze everything in the car - hard to do in almost 30 degree heat! Anyhoo much better drive back and we did it in under six hours, including a ‘comfort break’. So today it’s unpack the rest of the car and just chill. Tomorrow she has to work - in fact all week ahead of her flight to South America for an internship. Really happy it’s only going to be mid 20s this week rather than mid 30s! Tonight she’s cooking chilli and we’ll catch up on Master Chef.

Good morning all. I am SMUG this morning. Smuggy McSmugface. Yesterday i washed all winter 13.5 tog duvets from all the beds plus the guest ones that we use for ILs. 8 trips to and from a nearby launderette. All washed, sanitised and dried and vacuum packed into labelled vacuum boxes and stocked on top of each other. 4 x singles, 1 x king and 2 x doubles. Maybe people do this every year but I can't remember when if ever ours were properly washed and usually they are shoved in bags under beds or mixed up and we frantically open bags looking for the right ones when ILs arrive. Not this time.

Unfortunately, flight was delayed an hour ish due to an issue with a passenger on it's previous trip. But, I'm home. I've napped, eaten, and sent an email to work. Just about to upload something to Vinted & then probably call it quits for today 💤.
