Anyone been banned from Vinted?

Has anyone every been banned from Vinted and is there anything I can do about it?

I have never sold anything on Vinted before and earlier today, listed 2 dresses for sale. One worn once and one BNWT. Only listed for £12 and £7 respectively as that is what Vinted suggested and having never used it before, I didn't realise I could set my own price.

The £7 one sold, I answered a query about the £12 one and 30 mins later I received a message from Vinted saying that they had banned my account due to fraudulent activity and I would not be able to open another!

Neither are counterfeit/fake, I personally purchased both items from the retailers listed, one as far back as 2017 so sadly I no longer have the receipts. Why would anyone sell a fake New Look dress with the tag attached showing it was only £24.99 in the first place!

Tyhe New Look dress isn't the 2017 one - that's only a couple of years old. The 2017 purchase was for a wedding so has only been worn once and has been hanging in my wardrobe ever since.

Anyway, I'm sure I do have the odd item that still has the price tag on many years later. I bought another dress for the same wedding that never got worn so quite sure that still has tags on, yhy is that so strange? It's probably packed in storage under my bed or somewhere just in case I decide I do like it after all and might actually wear it.

It’s really common, if you look on Facebook Vinted groups people are always getting banned. Sometimes it’s the bots and sometimes it’s because someone has reported your listings.

What a strange comment! I have things from 10/15yrs ago and yes, some have tags on! Things I bought but they either didn't fit or didn't suit the event and then I lost the receipt etc. When I have a clear out, I will often donate such things to charity shops, but some, I hope I can wear at some point.

Sorry OP, never used vinted to can't help but it does sound like an error.
