Dr Jessica Taylors missing Tattle Life is stalking me books

AdeptGreenSquid · 27/06/2026 19:14

Dr Jessica Taylor had a book that was supposed to be released on Thursday. From the description is basically her saying Tattle Life is stalking her and creating private zoom calls where they plot criminal acts.

On Thursday the hardback book didn't come out, the release date got pushed two weeks away but the kindle book did come out.

She's saying the books are lost and neither her publisher or agent knows where they are.

These thousands of missing books haven't made it as a news story.

Does anyone work in publishing and has any idea what could have happened?

It makes absolutely no sense... which makes sense from a proven liar and grifter.

gamerchick · 27/06/2026 19:20

Why do you care?

Why does this person and this website keep getting brought up.

She doesn’t have a publishing contract and no book was really published.
Or a reviewer flagged the potential for libel and the publisher pulled it and she’s lying to save face.
Both seem legit possibilities.
It’s not possible to just ‘lose’ thousands of printed books like they fell of the back of a lorry 😂

Why do you care enough to click into here post that. I haven't seen any other threads and she's got PR pushing her in the media at the moment which is why I'm interested in whats actually going on

Are you Dr Jess? I can't imagine that many people are interested.

I don't think it's libel as the kindle version came out. But nothing adds up

Oh and before you ask, I clicked on the thread because the title made no sense.

She is a compulsive liar

SaltyKettleChip · 27/06/2026 19:37

I’m an avid reader and I’ve never seen anything like this happen. People in Australia have the book, don’t they?

She has been pivotal in taking Tattle Life and stalking to Parliament etc so it wouldn’t surprise me if some of the scum on there have something to do with it. Interested to see how it pans out.

hellofrommyothername · 27/06/2026 19:38

I have no idea who this person is but did the kindle book have the content? So it’s not the material that’s been (allegedly) lost, just the physical books?

Anonymousical · 27/06/2026 19:43

How would you just 'not know where they are'? Surely you'd know very roughly, ie they disappeared from the printing warehouse or they disappeared while being transported etc and were presumably stolen at whatever point they went missing. You can't just set down a few thousand books and lose them. The way it sounds in the OP, presumably from Jessica's description though, makes it sound like they've just been put down somewhere and someone forgot where.

stealthninjamum · 27/06/2026 19:43

I don’t really know who this woman is but I think she comes onto mumsnet every couple of months to do a post about her court case with tattle while pretending to be someone else. She always seems a bit weird and obsessed with tattle life.

vanessashanessa99 · 27/06/2026 19:47

Perhaps nobody bought them and she's too embarrassed to say so had conjured up a story of them getting lost / stolen.
(I don't even know who she is BTW. I'm reading mumsnets whilst trying to get my almost 3yr old to sleep)

Taking tattle life to parliament? You mean hiring a room to moan about tattle with a bunch of other influencers?
The book has been pulled because she's written some libellous rubbish in it and the publishers don't want to get sued. I'm sure she knows this. Or maybe she doesn't 🤣

The confusing part is it hasn't been pulled as the kindle version is for sale. It's the hardback books that she says are lost and no one knows where they are

OP posts:
GrannyAchingsShepherdsHut · 27/06/2026 20:19

Isn't it more likely that the pre sales were so poor they didn't bother printing them and just did the digital version?

I've no idea who this woman is, but the circumstances you've related sound completely unbelievable, like something fabricated to drum up interest.

GasperyJacquesRoberts · 27/06/2026 20:29

It's been quite a while since I had any training surrounding libel law but I wonder if there's a legal difference between a) publishing a physical book that cannot be realistically recalled, and b) publishing a Kindle book that can be withdrawn.

IDontDrinkTea · 27/06/2026 20:33

The woman is a proven liar - I have no idea why anyone would want to read anything she’s written. I lost all respect for her once she published women’s stories of abuse without their consent

OnlyMabelInTheBuilding · 27/06/2026 20:35

Oh hi again Jess

Okay I am new to this as a follower of hers. I would like to look into this without venturing to Tattle. Do you have any info please?

What and what? Any links to this parliament pivot? As for the "scum", they are regular gossip readers on a website. Same as you.

You post has me thinking this is just another blatant push to make this grifter "relevant ". How sad.

CrocsNotDocs · 27/06/2026 23:58

The Jack Monroe of feminism. Is there anyone on Earth who is not stalking her?

TheFairyCaravan · 28/06/2026 00:17

The woman is an absolute liar. She hates Tattle because she gets held to account and pulled up on her lies.

Charlatanfreethesedays · 28/06/2026 08:40

When you buy a book on Kindle, you don't own the book. It can still be withdrawn or changed by the publisher if legal issues come up.

So the Kindle being available doesn't mean they aren't legal issues preventing the book being published.

Anyway, I thought the Kindle version was withdrawn in the UK and was only available in Oz / NZ, is that right?

Books don't just go missing, and Jessica is a compulsive liar* - I've seen some of the content of the book and it's full of lies and false accusations.

My money's on legal action, not some random disaster that her publisher says is the "worst they've ever seen". (The amount of times I've heard Jessica say something was the worst. It can't just be bad, it has to be the worst ever. Reminds me of Trump.)

*Source - I worked for her and saw her lies up close.
