Why do some people set such extreme temperatures year round?

People are a mystery.

Winter - heat house to 21 degrees or they feel cold

Summer - buy a portable air con unit and set it to 16 degrees as they feel hot

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I swear people just like to burn money!

My husband is one of them, rather than set the climate control in the car to 20 degrees and letting the car sort itself out. In winter he sets it to 25 and wonders why he is sweating and then in summer sets it to 16 and wonders why it is freezing 😫😫😫

Or like my partner who sets the AC to LOW at maximum fan speed and then will sit with the windows down…

It’s the same people who complain they are cold because it’s 14c in the house but it’s ridiculous to turn the heating on because it’s not yet December

Where is the common sense of these people?

It’s the humidity. When you heat your home to 22 the airs dry. In summer 22+ feels muggy. It’s that simple.

This, every year.
I go by how cold I am, not what the calendar says.

Because I pay the bills and I like to be comfortable. What’s hard to understand.

Yes the inside temperature feels different depending on the outside temperature

So 21 inside in the winter is still cold sometimes. I dont have the AC as low as 16 (in an office room) but 18 is about ok.
