End of year gift ideas for a TA starting secondary English training

Hello, I’m a primary school teacher and I have a brilliant TA who is leaving me this year to go and start her teacher training as a secondary school English teacher. I want to get her an end of year gift. If she was off to train for primary school I would get her a pack with stickers, post it notes, nice pens etc, but I’m not sure what a secondary school teacher would appreciate for their training year.

I buy any TAs leaving to do teacher training one of these tins Teacher tin and put bits and pieces in it along with a Costa gift card.

A personalised stamp (from the likes of Etsy, but others do them these days) is a great gift for a future secondary teacher. I’ve seen one teacher with his face on it and saying “Mr Smith says well done!” And another with just words “Ms Silver says excellent effort!”.

Otherwise a nice travel mug never goes amiss - stickers will still very much be used, scratch and sniff ones being well received by students. Yes, even at secondary!

I’m secondary English and I would like all of those things!

What about a little survival kit - paracetamol, throat sweets, antibac hand cream, chocolate bars etc in a little emergency kit she can keep
in her bag.

A nice planner from Pirongs (if you know how many lessons a day her school has)?
