Neck / back cracking.

I for some reason seem to be a recipient of hundreds of these videos. Where some guy (?) pulls the head of someone / a dog and the noises the bones make implies they are falling back into alignment or where they ought to be.
has anyone ever had this done? Does it work? What are the risks?

This is what osteopaths do. Maybe make an appointment to go and see one, and they will assess you. If you are out of line, the results can be amazing.

My osteopath won't do my neck & back any more though, as I am older now and at high risk of developing osteoporosis due to another medical condition.

I loathe it. I used to teach and now invigilate and the boys who feel they have to crack their or their mate's back/neck/hands drove me mad. Like fingers down a blackboard. Its bubbles in the synovial fluid. If its ligaments and tendons cracking you need proper medical attention. Not a quack.

This isn't about bubbles in synovial fluid (I know about that as DD and DH both have hypermobility), knuckle-cracking or boys classroom antics, this is to do with the joints in the skeleton being out of alignment. By the way, osteopaths are not quacks, they are professionals. The OP says nothing about ligaments or tendons anyway.

I've had years of osteopathic treatment for my back and neck problems.
