What small things have you got planned for the summer for YOU?

I seem to have had a lot of luck this year with events and activities popping up that are totally my bag and just saw another two I quite fancy this morning. I’m wondering if I should be arranging things for every weekend though!

I’m thinking about a flower arranging session and hopefully another theatre trip.

What is filling your cup this summer?

I was only thinking the same last night. I have a lot of time off and wrote a long list of house projects I need to do. I've put off so many things that it's enough to fill my time off. I have 3 teen DC so busy anyway with daily domestic stuff and lifts etc but I have been mentally counting all the nice cafes nearby, some up to 30 minutes away on the coast. Some have nice gift shops or garden centres attached. I am going to visit them all during mid morning free windows of time, teens will be asleep and then I can get stuck into my work when I return.

I also have a few big jigsaws that I want to do.

I am getting a ferry home for the holidays - so 22 hours to myself on a boat. (And the same in return). Which also means I not only bring home DD’s student apartment contents, but should have space for some treats from here when going home (cheese, wine, french confit duck..)…and a lot of treats to offset homesickness coming back.

I am looking at theatre tickets while I am home but it’s not a great selection of plays this year. But there is a chance of some concerts when I get back here in the last week of August, before work gets totally mad again.
