Can anyone recommend a good alcohol-free dry white wine?

Can anybody recommend a good alcohol free dry white wine? Trying to drink less alcohol but I still want to have a glass of something in the evening. Everything i have tried so far it's either too sweet (rose) or just unpleasant (white).
Thank you!

I like the Kylie Minough 0% wines

AmazingGreatAunt · 26/06/2026 11:53

The Saturday Kitchen Live website might be able to give you some pointers. I seem to remember low or no alcohol wines being recommended recently.

I don’t like any of the wines but I like alcohol free Prosecco. It’s called nozecco and you can find it in all supermarkets.
i also make nice alcohol free spritzers with it, eg nozecco and lucozade = aperol spritzer.

I’ve tried loads of them and not found one yet. There are however some great gins (Tanqueray is my favourite) and becks blue is a good 0 lager.
I swear the person who cracks the alcohol free wine secret will make a fortune.

BarbarianBabs · 26/06/2026 12:13

Natureo is the best one I’ve had

Purplecatshopaholic · 26/06/2026 12:14

I’ve not found one yet either. Zero Regrets is ok - from Lidl I think. I hear the Kylie M one is nice but not tried it yet. I do like Nosecco, and M&S do a nice similar one.

BoilingHotand50something · 26/06/2026 12:14

Yes agree with above. The one I can tolerate the most is called The Very Cautious one. But Nozeco is good, most mocktails, beers and ales. I also love Crodino.

afaloren · 26/06/2026 12:14

Wednesday’s Domaine, the white Piquant is far and away the best one I’ve tried. You have to order it from their website I think.

If you don’t mind sparkling, I found this quite pleasant from Tesco, Vineyards Alcohol Free Sparkling Chenin Blanc Chardonnay, because it doesn’t have that sweet shloer taste that most of the alcohol free Proseccos have.

travailtotravel · 26/06/2026 12:19

Honestly, dealcoholised wines are sweet and a bit horrible. 0% beers are better but the wine process is terrible! Low wines are better as they made the wine 'properly' and just arrest fermentation so its low. Still on the sweet side but less 'chemical'.

clareykb · 26/06/2026 12:22

Like others I am yet to find a really good alcohol free wine however Sainsbury's do a low alcohol sparkling which is quite nice I think it's like 1 or 0.5percent also m and s do a lovely non alcohol aperol

Ibi · 26/06/2026 12:23

I found them all awful. If you’re just trying to cut down, you could use low alcohol fizz with proper aperol and soda. Or with a bit of elderflower cordial and soda. Personally I’d go for something different like a beer or kombucha.

RandomMess · 26/06/2026 12:29

I concur that I haven’t found one yet. They have all been so awful I had to either pour away or convert into a spritzer.

The gins are good though. I don’t like lager or Guiness but friends have found them good.

mbosnz · 26/06/2026 13:06

I have to say the Giesen Sauvignon Blanc is not terrible. Available from Tesco, £6.

IsThisACrazyThoughtDec25 · 26/06/2026 13:08

There are no food white equivalents that I've found. Botivo and tonic is glorious though

Periwinkletoes · 26/06/2026 13:16

Noughty sparkling wine is fairly tolerable. Not as sweet as other alchohol free wines.

bellocchild · 26/06/2026 13:29

Chilled Freixenet 0% cava is very drinkable.

VividDeer · 26/06/2026 13:31

There isn't one.
Sparkling tea or kombucha is nice

ouchynose · 26/06/2026 13:35

Agree that 0.0 alcohol beers are superior - I recommend Peroni or Estrella Galicia.

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 26/06/2026 13:47

I also am yet to find one.

I think I'd rather just lower the alcohol and have an ice cold white wine spritzer using soda water.

Beers/lagers are a lot better, 0% Guinness is lovely.

Hmmmmwineandchocs · 26/06/2026 13:49

Following. For gin I’ve found Tanqueray very good and i like Whitley and Neill alcohol free raspberry.

AMillionPeopleCheering · 26/06/2026 14:49

I like the alcohol free ciders as they are still dry.

I've been drinking alcohol free Estrella lager this week and found it very good.

All the wines I've tried were horrible (cava type least bad) and gins just extremely expensive cordial that tasted nothing like gin. I'd rather just have the tonic in a big glass with lots of ice and lemon, which is half the attraction to me.

sbccc · 26/06/2026 16:43

I have been drinking these for years and recently they have really started to improve. Both Sainsbury’s and M&S have recently launched an own brand finest version up from their entry level - I particularly like the Sainsbury’s Sauvignon Blanc at £6.50. This is much nicer than the McGuigan Zeros. Not a fan of the Kylie or Noseccos.

I also like the Thompson & Scott Noughty range - Waitrose normally stock these.

Beers wise Freedam and Lucky Saint are by far the best lagers.

I like the Kylie Minough 0% wines

It's nice but more of a sweet, sparkling juice. Not like wine at all imo.
