The heat has finally broke here in Devon. A cool wind has started, clouds rolling in and distant thunder rumbling in the background. Absolute bliss 😊

Wilts/Somerset border here and the storm is just starting to roll in. The rain and breeze are just beautiful. I have never known heat like it today

Disappointed here, awoken at midnight by biblical thunder and lightning, lasted all of about 15 minutes, small amount of rain, still hotter than Satan's sweaty arse crack 😭

had about ten mins of a cool breeze here just now, Wiltshire, now it's humid and hot again, lightning, so hopefully the storm is arriving.

Please let tomorrow be 'normal hot.' Other things going on too so will be blessing if it cools down.

Forecast keeps saying ooh rain on its way in a few hours, you get close to that time then the forecast miraculously changes to nothing. It’s been doing that for days.

My downstairs is currently 29. Upstairs at a guess 32 or so.

Am sat in the kitchen with the front door wide open trying desperately to cool the house.

Out having coffee on my balcony in West London at the moment & it’s cool & fresh with a slight breeze. Just right.

It is noticeably cooler this morning with a nice breeze. The upstairs of our house is still like a sauna, to the point that the actual mattress and metal bed frame are warm to the touch. It was an unpleasant and sleepless night!

Currently have all upstairs and downstairs windows, back door and internal doors open and have a good wind tunnel effect going on which is helping cool the whole house down

I woke up to fog this morning, FOG! Then a bit of rain, cloud and now its sunny again. The British weather is definitely on crack.
