Used car stinks of cigarettes

I’ve just bought a new (to me) car from a dealer. After a few days once the new car spray wore off I’ve realised it stinks of cigarettes. The heat is making it worse!

Has anyone got any tips to help? I can’t return the car or take it to them for a valet as it’s 3 hours away.

Thankyou

You get get aerosols from Halfords that you set off in the car with the doors closed and the fans on for 15 minutes, which deodorise it.

You could valet it yourself. White vinegar is good for deodorising. I’d wash down all hard surfaces. Not on windows as vinegar can ruin tints. Get a little hand held spot stain remover carpet cleaner and do all the carpets / seats even the roof if it’s fabric. Boot fabric everything then let it air for a day.

This happened to me. The smell was disgusting after a while. They tried all sorts of things but it still stank so I complained and they took it back
