Anyone ordered from GardeningExpress.com?

Apologies if I’ve posted this in the wrong topic, I couldn’t find one about gardening stuff but if MNHQ want to move it to another topic, please feel free to.

I’m just wondering if anybody has ordered plants from GardeningExpress.com and did you actually receive them? Were you satisfied?
I placed an order for £50 worth of plants on 15th June and still haven’t received a dispatch email.
I used their AI chat bot to ask where my order was and it said it was “still within our dispatch timeframe” which upon checking is 10 working days(!) ie: 2 bloody weeks! Since when do companies these days take 2 weeks to dispatch purchases!?
I had a look on trustpilot and the reviews are mixed.

Have I been scammed or is this normal for some companies and I’m just being impatient?!

Yes they are awful, my order never came but they did refund me when I asked.

I’ve ordered from them twice, for gifts not to me, both orders arrived on multiple dates with not much clue as to what was coming when.
But it did all arrive and has been great quality.

Avoid at all costs, crap service, if you get any plants they’re not fit for growing.

That hasn't been my experience at all, I've had great plants from them. They do sometimes take a while to arrive, but that is stated on their website as you have seen. But they've been good quality at really reasonable prices, I recommend them to everyone.

I've had plants from them. Hit and miss. I had argument about quality of one. I got sent new one. Of the same quality.... It does say about the 10-15 days dispatch before you pay iirc.

I have ordered quite a few times. Never know when they are going to come but the plants are good. And well packaged.

I have ordered 3 times. Their delivery times are ridiculous and there’s is nothing express about them. But my plants have been lovely everytime and still thriving now. The one time they go tossed around in transit they gave me voucher to replace the the plants that didn’t make it.

I ordered during the 2020 lockdown and the items never arrived. There was a big consumer uproar at the time (I think Radio 4's You and Yours did a couple of programmes at the time) as they blamed their issues on COVID supply chain issues but I think they were just exploiting the situation as they had no way of fulfilling orders. But obviously that was a unique time and I haven't ordered from them since.

I order a few bits every summer and have always been impressed with the quality.

Agree that delivery sometimes takes a while, but the plants and shrubs are fabulous and good value.

They take ages, mine took about 3 weeks and when you look it does say 10-15 business days. I don't think this is made clear enough when you order though.

Yes, dispatch took forever and I had spent a lot of money so I cancelled the order. I appreciate it states up to 10 working days for dispatch but silly me thought oh there’s no way it’ll take that long…..

Just waiting on a refund now.
