Do you have an unlikely celebrity crush you would never admit to?

Is there anyone you fancy that you'd never admit to in real life because actually it doesn't really make sense even to yourself? Anyone that's a really outside choice that others wouldn't understand?

For me it's the actor Paul Giamatti. No idea why. He is so opposite of my usual 'type' and actually I think most people would say he's not really attractive just going on looks alone.

But I loved him in Sideways, Straight Outta Compton and in Billions. I think maybe its the voice? Who knows, but I do weirdly fancy him, but I'd never say so to anyone I know.

Jack Black, i am not even ashamed 😀

Byeon Woo-seok is my secret crush. A million miles away from my usual type.

Alfred Molina, don't ask me why, maybe because he's called Alfred.

Lifelover16 · 24/06/2026 15:40

Jeremy Clarkson. 😂😂😂

Stanley Tucci - I love him

Well, he's not particularly attractive but crushes aren't always just about looks. He's a brilliant actor, and competence is extremely appealing. He plays comedy very well and funny is always attractive. I wouldn't say he's on my list but he's definitely not one to be ashamed of if you ask me 😁

David Morrisey. Gorgeous man

Glasgowgal200 · 04/08/2026 17:36

Stephen Merchant

ValerieValeraaaa · 11/08/2026 22:25

Greg Rutherford. I've always fancied him.

Snap for Jack Black.
I find Mackenzie Crook very appealing in interviews, he seems so thoughtful and sensitive.

TerracottaWorrier · 11/08/2026 22:46

Marco Rubio.

It came on when I was critically ill and has eased off since but I still probably would 💔

Brother in law in Fleabag! I found him horrendous but his speech at the end changed things for me

HowardTJMoon · 11/08/2026 22:54

Priti Patel. I find her politics absolutely abhorrent but, crikey, she's an attractive woman. I think it's the smirk.

MrsMoastyToasty · 11/08/2026 22:55

@Glasgowgal200 I have met Stephen Merchant. He is really, really tall. His accent doesn't seem so Bristolian in real life (but that maybe because I'm also from Bristol- just the other side of the city).
Mine is Robson Green. Its his twinkly eyes.

Jack Black for me too and Greg Davies and Harry Styles - I’m old enough to be his mother but he’s lovely, also find… wait for it… Ed Balls rather nice!! Especially when he’s cooking on instagram, but generally too!

LondonLass2026 · 11/08/2026 23:55

Even as a teen, I really fancied John Major.

Now? Bill Nighy.

I know this thread is a bit old now but why wouldn’t you admit to David Morrissey? I don’t think there’s anything to be embarrassed of there!
