Baby asleep in car. So I went to a drive through Costa to get an iced coffee.

I've then pulled up 5 minutes away in an area with trees on one side and houses on the other. I've parked so my car is shaded by trees so baby is cool. (I'm.not in a red heatwave area)

A cars pulled up about 10ft behind me and immediately the man took seatbelt off and lay down?! And his phone is up in the air.

Is he relaxing while scrolling on tiktok or is he doing some very unsubtle surveillance on the houses across the road?!

Drive off to another shaded area & see if he follows you.

Is he filming you? Or the houses?

I'm back closer to home now. Baby still asleep...unheard of to have a nap this length so I'm just rolling with it.

I doubt he knew i was in the car until I pulled away. I'm quit short and I dont think he would have seen me from.back.

If I’m picturing ‘lay down and his phone is up in the air’ correctly, then he lay down for some rest and is just holding his phone up to scroll / do whatever. This optical illusion happens a lot on the tube. People hold up their phones to rest on their elbow etc and it looks like they’re taking pictures / videos.

Sounds like he is taking advantage of the aircon in his car to relax and doom scroll. Maybe he had somewhere to be shortly and no time to go anywhere else?

That or he was getting your registration so that he can steal your dog tomorrow 🤦‍♀️😂

It’s a joke, because there was a trend a while back where any time anyone even looked at someone walking a dog people would get into their head that they were being followed so their dog would be stolen.

This is a very similar type of thread, with worries of surveillance just because someone was using their phone in a parked car
