I'm struggling for birthday gift ideas for a 17 year old boy - there's nothing he's particularly asked for and I just can't come up with anything great. Has anyone brought something that has gone down particularly well? Any ideas or suggestions welcome!

xx

In the UK? L plates, Highway Code, driving lessons?

Thanks, those have all been covered by other family members.

What are his hobbies? You can get him a gift card to a store he gets equipment or supplies if there are any, or could be subscriptions to software he will use for what he likes to do (like a video editing software if he's into that, or a photo restoration software if he likes that, photo editing program, etc).
Headphones or a good gaming mouse if he's into gaming. Or could be a good headset as well.
Tickets to a gig he would enjoy attending?
Cash always goes down well, that's for sure, only that isn't not exactly memorable, but at least money will be spent on something that brings him joy.

Does he have a car?
Drive through voucher
High vis strap and torch with different modes to keep in car in case of a breakdown
Personalised travel wallet for when he starts travelling alone/with friends
Concert tickets

At this sort of age, I know it’s boring for the giver, but unless there’s something they specifically want, cash usually goes down best.
