Card payments not working at Tescos and Morrisons

Anyone else come across this. Apparently it's a nationwide problem. Somehing to do with power surge and worldcup. Mad. Or maybe blame the weather. Some giant processor has gone down.

my online banking app has been down all day too.

I read worldpay which deals with a lot of card transactions was having issues.
