If you have submitted dangerous driving captured on dash cam what was the outcome?

Had an incident this morning where I was tailgated and cut up dangerously . Is it worth submitting the dash cam footage? He also joined the dual carriage way cutting across the chevron area and was speeding.

Share it with the police and your insurer.

Why the insurer? I can't see anywhere that there was a collision or damage to the OP's car?

I have submitted a fair few times for very dangerous driving. Sometimes I don't hear back, sometimes they come back to me and say they will be pursuing prosecution. It does vary by police force how much you hear. I've never been asked to go to court.

I'd say it's worth sending in.

No worries - I thought I had missed something - it's hot and so I skim read too!

We did, a few weeks ago. We haven’t heard anything (yet) but I hope that the police will at least make contact with the dangerous driver. I think it should be done. It might help and I don’t think people should get away with careless or dangerous driving.
