Your skincare routine, if you have rosacea?

I'm in the process of revising my skincare routine. I have mild type 2 roseacea, I'm post meno if that is relevant.
I like lightweight products, I hate heavy products that make my skin feel clogged. My favourite moisturiser at the moment is the Aveeno oat gel moisturiser. I am also using azelaic acid.
What is your skincare routine and what are your favourite products? And if you can recommend a very lightweight SPF that would be awesome

Following this as my husband has rosacea and it is very much getting him down so I would like some tips for him!

Evening….

1st Cleanser: (only if I’m wearing makeup) Superfacialist Vit C cleansing oil
2nd Cleanser: Alturist 2% Salicylic foam cleanser
Toner: Paula’s Choice Skin Recovery

Treatment: The Ordinary Azelaic Acid
Moisturiser: Aveeno Calm & Restore night cream

Morning….

Rinse with cool water, no make up days I I apply Medik8 Daily Radiance Vitamin C SPF/moisturiser, if using makeup apply Dr Jarr+ Cicapair Soothing Colour Correcting cream.

I’m thinking of trialing Paula’s Choice Azelaic Booster as I’ve read good things, but that’s more expensive than The Ordinary.

Morning - just wash face with water, Aveeno oat gel moisturiser. Zinc stick SPF 50 sunblock either as a base to my makeup or on it’s own. Overspray with Ultrasun SPF50 UV face and scalp mist.
Evening - cleanse with Aveeno oat gel cleanser, moisturise with Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Hyrdagel Creme.
No actives, they all break me out.

I use Skinoren, Soolantra (ivermectin), Heliocare SPF50 and a scent-free and lanolin-free moisturiser... in addition to a long-term course of antibiotics for rosacea, and I recently read that Niacin supplements are good for it.

Prior to the antibiotics, I also tried laser treatment. It was painful and expensive, but made a big difference, even if I did have chipmunk cheeks afterwards! (They went down with aloe vera gel and bags of frozen peas wrapped in tea towels).

I use the Aveeno oat gel cleanser as well, love it.
I'll check out the ultrasun mist.

Anyone else?

Less is more I have read I use la Roche-posay toleraine cleaner as a face wash at night only.
happy face acelic acid clearing gel cream
followed by la Roche posay toleraine (green cream)
before makeup I use Rosalique anti redness cream
i I have read up on rosecea and there are different types I have found some recommendations make my skin worse so I think you need to find what works for you.
For me alcohol and sugar are a definite trigger. I think creams make my skin feel better but aren’t a fix.

Very similar to @WarmHare
AM - rinse with water
Niacinamide - The Ordinary 10%
SPF - CeraVe

PM - cleansing balm - currently Aldi's rose one, then clay cleanser.
Topical Transexemic acid
Azaelic acid - Dermatica 20%
Moisturiser - currently Aveeno

It's taken me 12-18 months to find a routine and products that work for me.

AM - Aveeno oat cleanser
avene tolerance cream

PM - same cleanser
SOOLANTRA! I can’t recommend this enough for rosacea, get some on prescription
Inkey list bio active moisturiser (you need a barrier building moisturiser)

Exfoliate once every 1.5 weeks or so

I never, never wash my face with water - hard water can be a major trigger for rosacea.

I use either green people or Trevarno cleanser so all natural no harsh chemicals. I use an organic moisturiser with Shea butter in the winter - can't remember the brand but I have dry perimenopausal skin so need it. In summer I use Green People face sun cream.
