It's so hot outside I'm doing my tax return to keep cool.

What none essential task are you doing to sit under a fan?

Sitting here in the living room enjoying a Magnum.

Stroking the cat

Sitting under the gazebo with a fan and an ice lolly.

I'm doing mine on weds when it's 35!

We are under the shade in the garden drinking a bottle of vintage champagne.

So later on I'll be in front of a fan with my hangover!

Oh man, I missed a trick. Needless to say I didn't even get halfway so I will be doing a batch tomorrow too. Yours sounds amazing 😍

MetOffice are now saying Thursday will be 39c, so I could save a non essential task for then, but in reality only anything that's absolutely essential will get done at home - ie standing under a cool shower!

Coming back to today, I watched Queens tennis - a brilliant excuse for me to do nothing for three hours😂
