We've tried all the otc stuff for months on end inc the freeze stuff . Is there anything else I can try online, I've seen some herbal oil advertised but unsure if just a scam.

One verruca is on the ball of the foot so always has pressure so deep. And wart is palm of hand

Gaffer tape on verruca - it starves it of oxygen I think is the theory behind it. Will likely work on wart too!

Tried. It just rolls off , have fully wrapped it around the foot too and it just rolls. I even purchased a tape recommended by gp and it did the same.

Dc won't put it on the palm wart as friends will see. Plus it's right in the creases on palm of hand so will unlikely stay on especially at school with wet play and sand etc

Could you get it frozen off?

DD has a whole colony on both feet. We bought something on Amazon in April (which appears to have been discontinued🤔) and it’s worked on one foot but not the other.

out local podiatrist does verruca removal so am tempted to try

TCA gel has been by far the most effective method we’ve used. You can pick it up on Amazon or Boots. The freezing stuff is useless.

this one! Dd puts it on 2-3 times a day after showering and files it if not.

it’s worked surprisingly well in one foot which I suspect she has been giving more attention to!

When I was in America they had this amazing stuff called Wartner that worked for mine! I see from this thread it's available in the UK as well (I didn't know that). 100% would recommend.

I once taped banana skin to my DDs for a week after a tip on here and it worked!

I used a tip from on here as my DC had one the ball of their foot just likes yours. Each night, soaked a little cotton wool in apple cider vinegar then taped that to the verruca using sports tape- its flexible to stretches round the foot and doesn't budge, unlike ductape etc. In the morning, removed cotton wool and put new tape on. Then would file in the evening before repeating with ACV and sports tape. It was a big one and we'd been using all OTC stuff for ages. Within a week it fell out of her foot. Healed and all sorted now.

Apple cider vinegar- get a callus knife from boots as well to remove the dead skin. Soak a cotton wool pad in Apple cider vinegar and put on the wart or verruca, cover in a plaster overnight - take off dead skin next evening then reapply - I had a very persistent verruca and my DS had a horrendous wart on his knee and I got rid of both with apple cider vinegar after spending loads on other treatments- randomly it was a tarragon flavoured version and smelled strong!!

I've never got duct tape to stick either.

We have a method that's always worked so far but it's faffy and takes a while. Extra strength bazooka. We pick off any old product, soak the foot, reapply product, leave to air dry and then cover in strong fabric sticking plaster. Not "a plaster", just the sticky bit. File it down about once a week and trim off any really dead bits carefully. A few weeks in we leave it untouched for a few days every now and then and one day the whole thing falls off.

With a child I cut a small hole in a bit of plaster and put that down first to protect the skin around. For myself I don't bother and am prepared to kill off a bigger bit of my foot.

I'm sure there is a much quicker, less faffy version. IMO the combination of product and keeping it covered is the charm - just one or the other doesn't work.

Castor oil worked on my warts.
