Going to Lincoln for a few days in early July. 2 adults who love all cuisines, looking for good food rather than anything fancy. Particularly interested in pizza, Indian, great pub food / gastro pub but up for any cuisine really

We're staying in the city centre Premier Inn so anywhere within a 30 minute walk of there would be great. Thanks!

Ole Ole near the Lawn for tapas
Lawsons on the Strait for more traditional English food
The White Horse
Caffe Portico (Italian)
Castleview (Indian - but you’ll need to book well in advance for the weekend. You could also try their sister restaurant, Cathedral View)
the restaurant at the cathedral is nice for lunch
Stokes at the Lawn
Slow Rise Pizza
Royal William IV on the Brayford
Duke William on the Bail

as well as all the usual chain restaurants.

That Premier Inn is one of the better ones I've stayed in and Lincoln isa hidden gem. Some tourists but not that many.

I'm a fool for a pie @igelkott2026

Another vote for Lawsons - really reasonable prices for very nice food. They do a lunchtime deal I think.
