How do I update Universal Credit for PIP and home education?

Can anyone advise about UC as I have 2 issues and haven’t had a reply on my journal .
1). DS has moved from dla to pip the pip award starts on 19 June - do I have to do something on that exact date to update my claim ?

2). I’ve updated CB that he’s continuing home ed till 20th birthday and they have said CB wil
carry on . What do I tell UC ? They haven’t asked yet I thought they would ask me what are his educational plans but they haven’t - is there somewhere on my claim to update this as I couldn’t find it ?

Your journal?

I put a message on a few days ago and haven’t had a response. I was wondering if I can just do the updates myself but wasn’t sure where ?

I didn’t think you could officially home educate beyond secondary school. What will he be studying, at what level?

Yes you can as I called CB and they just asked how many hours a week of education he does and if we are planning any qualifications (he will be doing GCSEs in maths and English)

Ah, ok. I’m a secondary teacher and I’d never heard of it happening. I’m in Scotland, right enough. All the best!

There is a part in your app to report health changes etc. you can notify them of the PIP change there. If you left a note in your journal they will still sign post you to report a change part. And yes you need to notify them on the day PIP starts
