A PLAY/SCENE FOR TEENS TO ACT

StrikesAtticFlat · 15/06/2026 20:36

Help!
I need a one-act play, with four speaking parts, for a group of four 14 year-olds to plan and act.
Or a lengthy scene from a play.
Any ideas very gratefully received!! Thank you.

Boys or girls?

Three girls, one boy - but doesn’t matter really - they are all very adaptable

It’s been a long time since I could name options off the top of my head but my brain has gone to the play adaption of Lord of the Flies as an example.

You could also ask chatGPT.

Does it have to be complete in itself or can it be a scene from a longer play? Goodnight Mr Tom? A Monster Calls?

Edited to add: oh sorry you did say it could be a scene - so yes the above
