Selling gold

Has anyone ever used these companies that you send your gold/silver to? I haven’t discussed a small drawer full of broken gold and am curious.

Just go to your local independent high street jeweller or pawnbroker. They’ll gladly buy your gold - and there’s no need to worry about anything going missing in the post. You will need ID with you though as they have to record the sale properly. Don’t try and sell items with stones in them - they really only want the gold element and you won’t realise the full value of any precious stones. Google the daily rate of gold per gram before you set off so you know what ballpark you’re in for the amount you have.
